Sometimes there is a need to highlight important milestones, lines or even chart areas. Fibery report has possibility to provide line or area annotations for created visualizations using static numeric or dates or dynamic numbers. The guide for available annotation functions can be found here.
Annotation Line
Line annotation can be created for number or for date chart dimension.
- Click on dimension in X or Y and dimension editor popup will appear.
- Press Annotations button in dimension editor and new annotation view will be opened.
- Provide calculation for annotation line.
- Select line color and provide title for annotation (optional step).
Annotation Area
Area annotation can be created for number or for date chart dimension. It allows to highlight some area on chart by defining From and To calculations.
- Click on dimension in X or Y and dimension editor popup will appear.
- Press Annotations button in dimension editor and new annotation view will be opened.
- Select Area tab in annotation view
- Provide From calculation for annotation area, where the area should be started
- Provide To calculation for annotation area, where the area should be ended
- Select area color and provide its title (optional step).
